Donna Wells, the CEO of Mindflash, will be teaming up with several female CEOs and founders of tech companies next week at South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive for a panel titled “Becoming a CEO: Lessons from Four Techette Leaders.”
The panel will be held on Tuesday, Mar. 13 at 11 a.m. CST.
The panelists — all successful female business leaders — will discuss their wildly different paths to the top, and talk about what it’s like to be a woman in tech today, as well as the changing role of the CEO and the obstacles of the position, and advice they’d give to aspiring CEOs, male or female.
The women on the panel come from a range of business backgrounds, from online training start-ups to event-registration companies to enterprise and consumer tech companies. The panel includes:
- Donna Wells, Mindflash CEO
- Alexa von Tobel, LearnVest CEO
- Julia Hartz, Eventbrite Co-Founder & President
- Meredith Flynn-Ripley, MediaFriends/HeyWire Co-Founder & CEO
- Courtney Myers, The Next Web Features Editor
