  • Can I add my company logo?

    Yes. Upload your logo by selecting ‘Logos and Colors’ from the home page. Your logo will appear on the page where trainees login, the course web page and on the intro page for each course.

  • Can I sell my courses?

    Yes. All Mindflash accounts come with e-commerce capability. If you decide to sell a course, you simply need to set a price greater than $9.99.

  • Can I use Mindflash both for internal training and to sell courses to individuals?

    Yes. All of our training plans include the ability to sell courses at no additional cost or impact on your training plan. Within your Mindflash account, you can create courses for both internal training needs and/or to sell to individual customers.

  • How are Marketplace courses different from traditional Mindflash courses?

    In traditional Mindflash courses, you “invite” trainees to your courses using their email address. In Marketplace, you do not have the ability to invite trainees; rather, you are given a URL for a Public Course Page that any potential customer/trainee can use to purchase your course.

  • Can Marketplace courses have videos, quizzes, certificates, handouts, etc?

    Yes. Marketplace courses have all the capabilities of traditional Mindflash courses. So all the features and capabilities you are familiar with will work as they do today.

  • If I choose to sell courses, how will my buyers/customers find my Marketplace courses?

    When you activate your course, we will provide you with a Public Course Page link directly to that course. You may publicize your Public Course Page via your website, blog post, email or other means.

  • Can I group courses in my training plan?

    Yes, you can group courses together and Invite a Trainee to the group in one step.  You can then have your Trainees take the courses in order, or allow them to complete them in any order they wish.

  • How do I add a quiz to a course?

    From the ‘Arrange Presentation’ page, click the ‘Insert Quiz’ button that appears in between each page of training materials. Your new quiz will be inserted in your course at the spot you selected.

  • Can my trainees receive a certificate for completing a course?

    Yes, Mindflash training accounts include course completion certificates that are available for trainees to download and print after they’ve passed a course so they can proudly display their achievement. We offer three different certificate designs that can be turned on or off at the individual course level.

  • How do I communicate with my trainees in Mindflash?

    Mindflash provides a series of automated email templates that you can customize for each course. These emails are automatically sent to invite trainees to your course and as confirmation when a trainee completes a course. You can also turn on automated reminders or choose to manually remind individual trainees who haven’t finished a course.

  • How do my trainees get access to Mindflash?

    You can add trainees to Mindflash individually or with an excel upload. Once your trainees are in Mindflash, simply invite them to your courses and designate whether the course is required or optional. When you activate your course (moving it from draft to active state), Mindflash will send emails to the trainees you have invited with instructions for getting started.

  • How much does Mindflash cost?

    For traditional Mindflash training programs please refer to our Pricing page for details. If you choose to sell courses using the Mindflash Marketplace, fees are purely commission-based off your course sales. If you don’t sell anything, you don’t pay anything.

  • How does billing work?

    At the end of your free trial you can select from any of our subscription plans. When you select a plan you’ll be asked to enter a credit card to complete your purchase. Mindflash will charge your card for the plan you selected, and then renew your plan each month until you cancel. You can add trainees, reduce trainees, or cancel your account anytime using the ‘Account’ page.

  • What happens if I cancel my plan?

    Mindflash will not renew your account again after you cancel your account. You and your trainees will continue to have access to Mindflash until the end of your paid subscription. When your paid subscription expires, you and your trainees will no longer be able to login to Mindflash. You can resubscribe anytime, Mindflash will maintain your account information for at least 90 days.

  • Are there any setup fees?

    No. Mindflash is quick and easy to setup, no hidden costs or fees to get started (or ever).

  • What if I need more (or fewer) trainees?

    No problem. You can increase (or decrease) the number of trainees with access to your Mindflash account anytime from the ‘Account’ page.

  • How do I cancel?

    Login to your Mindflash and visit the Account page, then select ‘Do not auto-renew my subscription.’ (Note: your service will end at the end of your current, paid subscription.)

  • How many courses can my trainees take each month?

    Mindflash is “all you can train!”, your trainees can take an unlimited number of courses each month.

  • Do I need a merchant account to sell courses?

    No, you don’t need a merchant account to sell courses. Mindflash will handle payment processing for you, and your customer’s payments will be sent to Mindflash.

  • How will buyers pay for courses?

    Buyers will be allowed to pay for courses via Credit or Debit card (Visa/MC/Amex). We then distribute payments to you every two weeks.

  • Does the standard Mindflash pricing apply to Marketplace courses that I sell?

    No. Standard Mindflash training plan pricing does not apply to Marketplace. In the Mindflash Marketplace, you keep 85% of all revenue generated. There are no additional fees or costs. See our pricing page here.

  • How does Mindflash work?

    Upload your training files, arrange them, and add a quiz to create a training course in Mindflash. Mindflash will help you manage trainees, communication and reporting for all of your courses.

  • What kind of files can I upload?

    Mindflash supports PowerPoint (including Office 2010), Video, Word (including Office 2010), and Adobe PDF files. Video file types supporting include: .mov, .avi, .mp4, .qt, .wmv, .flv, .mpg, .asf.

  • Can I choose my own web site address?

    Mindflash lets you choose an address for your training website (for example, mytraining.mindflash.com) when you signup for trial. You can update and change this URL anytime.

  • Does Mindflash support audio or voice over for my courses?

    Yes. Mindflash supports embedded audio files in PowerPoint to allow you to easily include voice over. Audio in your videos is also supported.

  • Does Mindflash support video or screen recordings?

    Yes, Mindflash supports the following video file types: .mov, .avi, .mp4, .qt, .wmv, .flv, .mpg, .asf.

  • Does Mindflash work for live webinars?

    No. Mindflash currently supports asynchronous training to allow your trainees to take training on their own.

  • How long does it take to make a course using Mindflash?

    Using Mindflash is really fast and easy, our internal record for creating a course is 44 seconds. How long it takes you will depend mostly on readiness of your training content and length/complexity of the quizzes you create.

  • What is the experience like for my trainees?

    Mindflash is intuitive and easy for trainees to use, with branding and templates keep you looking professional. A personalized trainee dashboard allows trainees to see what courses they need to take, and the results of courses they’ve taken in the past. Trainees take your courses in an easy to use course player where they can advance at their own pace. And maybe the best part, trainees can take your courses whenever and wherever it’s convenient for them. There’s no software to install or download, they just need a web browser and internet connection.

  • Can I copy a pre-existing Mindflash course and automatically transfer it to Marketplace?

    Yes, you can easily copy existing courses from your training plan over to the Mindflash Marketplace.
